Today I listened to the broadcast of Sergio Fernández's radio program number 37 entitled "The art of educating" (I leave you the video below).
In this program he had Javier Urra as a guest, Doctor in Clinical Psychology and in Therapeutic Pedagogy. He was the first Ombudsman for Children in Spain, he has a very good oratory and is explained in a very didactic way. Before watching the video I leave you with four pearls that it says at the beginning of the broadcast.
Javier Urra says that he gets up with a smile and begins his intervention in the program saying: «I am the abnormal one that when you travel to Argentina or Chile, do you know that there is always someone with a little light reading or writing something? That's me".
I leave you these four pearls that he releases at the beginning of the program and then we see the video:
1) "I'm a very disciplined guy and that's why I have time to write 30 books".
2) «I get up at 5:00 in the morning and read. To write a book I have calculated that I read about 60 books… When I say read a book I mean to read it in detail, underline it, make a synthesis. Bear in mind that I write everything in ballpoint pen, I don't use the computer ».
3) "Today's students are highly prepared but they don't dig deep." (In his works-investigations).
4) “The students don't have language either. They have a very scarce verb and their emotions and feelings cannot express them ... and language is essential to develop the brain ... and the imagination ».
